    Original Vintage Never Used Stock from the City of Ironwood, Michigan.
    (NOT A REPRODUCTION)
    These signs warned anyone wishing to enter a residence of the contagious diseases that are in the residence at the time it was posted. It would be issued and nailed to the front of a residence by the local Health Officer. This version has a dark black blank line where the Health Department Official would write in the disease that was in the residence.
    On bottom right side it says; "By Order Of C. C. Urquhart, M. D. Health Officer" who served in the 1940s and later. (Note the date line says 194_)
