Our filters are 100 micron.
This is a
finer
micron allowing for the best possible filtration for your spa than filters with only150
micron
. The micron is measured by the holes in the mesh in
microns
, so the higher the number the larger the holes.
Designed exclusively for all models of Southwest and Sierra Spas using a sock style filtration system. This is a direct replacement for the standard factory installed filter.
Improvements have been made to this filter by the manufacture including a heavier fiber material, micron filtration, stronger plastic retaining ring and improved stitching for lasting durability.
**The manufacture also shortened the LENGTH to 14 inches. The 16" filter design was too long, when it gets wet, due to the pull of the suction in the filter basin, the filter can stretch out over months of use and this can plug up the suction area in the filter. The new length of the filter does NOT effect the quality filtration.
The
MICRO FIBER FILTER
is 14 inches in length. The filter design forces the spa water through the filter area, catching everything including leaves, bugs and fine sand and debris, more efficient than traditional paper filters.
Easy to clean and reuse!
They
are easy to change and  to clean and re-use.
Pull out the
MICRO FIBER FILTER
from the filter area, turn inside out to wash off all debris with a garden hose or they can also be washed by themselves in a cycle of your dish washer on the top shelf to clean thoroughly. Place back in filter area. Stock up now and order several to cycle the filters so you always have a clean one ready to use.
