    Description

    We are pleased to offer this antique Japanese red lacquer paper mache match holder dating to the 1850's for this listing. Gold Chinoiserie figures decorate the sides and top of this lovely piece. It has scalloping along the outside edge and a striker under the match box. It is in remarkable age related condition with only normal use and wear areas around the hanger and the striker.
